Removal of Breed specific restrictions in Schleswig-Holstein (North Germany)

In the coalition agreement between Christlich Demokratischen Union (CDU)

and Freien Demokratischen Partei (FDP) in Schleswig-Holstein,

it says that the list containing dog breeds with breed specific restrictions will be removed

(BSL- Breed Specific Legislation).

The reason is that the BSL- Breed Specific Legislation, didn’t have the desirable effect.
The Breed specific restrictions concerning import and breeding does therefore no longer exist in Schleswig-Holstein.

Just recived this clipout from Maggan, the breeder of Leo.

He and I was interviewed this spring at a show in Sweden.

It says:

The Angel Leo

At the show in Malmö we met the powerhouse Leo, who is a bullterrier on 38 kg,

 and his mother Katherine Mouridsen.

Leo is 3 years and born in Sweden, but lives in Denmark. He loves to run and dig holes in the garden.

When asked if Leo ever have done anything stupid, we get the answer: Ofcause not! He is Swedish, so he is an angel! his mother says.

Thank you sweet Maggan for this lovely clipout of our beloved and so missed son, Leo!!

Buffalo Bull's Heartbreaker - Leo, has left us the 27.th of August 2009.

Our hearts are empty and souls broken over the loss of our beloved son.

He was taken from us far too early by aggressive lymph cancer.

Sleep tight our big Teddybear.

Our beautiful, beautiful boy... We will meet again at the end of the rainbow bridge.

 

You were the sunshine of our lives.

He was placed as 4.th winner with excellent in his class of 8 open class males at the Danish Bull Show 2009

Breed judge was the American breed specialist Ms. Franne Berez.

Asta was the winner of champion class bitches, nominated for best head, best movement and best handler,

 at the Danish Bull Show 2009.

She won the cup for best movement and was placed as 3.rd best bitch in the breed.
